Thanks Vic for your comments, I am the artist!. There is only myself and Carl on the site and we both have our own styles which I'm sure you will learn and know whos is whos painting in time. I only paint half my face as I paint on 13cm x19cm panels which are fairly small. I use a size 6 and 4 hog filbert so painting the whole head would be very hard to do detail with this scale. It is only a colour study in which to learn from. I carry out larger commissioned portraits on a regular basis which fly of to Monaco and the USA. All the best, Antony.

Hi Antony.
Please tell me ( I`m a little ignorant of the technicalities
of Art ) why the Artist only ever shows half the face of the Portrait?.It`s a brilliant Painting of half of the face,and I gather
you are the Artist. theres never a name with the painting,why
not?. but as I say,why only half?.
