Thank Rene and Gary for the kind comments. The fields of blue bells are so busy over this week due to how strange it all looks, such intense colour which you don't find often apart from the tulip fields near you Rene in Holland! Only a few more days until they vanish I think.

Even if you had never seen a blue-bell this would be a great painting. The swathe of purple/blue instead of the expected young greens is very exciting. I've got a yuccky cold at this moment but I can smell the bluebells so strongly. Perhaps you could sell your work as aromatherapy!!!! Lurking in the top right is the Antony trademark - the sky, cloud & highlight colours. You seem to be on a re-energised upward path - I love it.

Wow this ones really rocks, ... love to see the real spot though. I know Bluebells are very common around there but I can't imagine their being soo much on a hill. Hard piece hey, you should try paint bulb-fields for that matter ;-)
